Cloudy Kiwifruit Juice Processing and Equipment Selection

Configure a cloudy kiwifruit juice or beverage-base route. Review extraction, retained solids, treatment and the packaging interface around the actual product.

Define cloudy juice separately from puree

A cloudy juice or beverage base needs its own product description. Record the retained solids, visible particles, consistency and intended downstream use, rather than assuming a puree route produces the required juice. Whole fruit, purchased pulp and an existing liquid feed each create a different starting point. The project should identify the preparation and extraction arrangement before sizing downstream tanks and treatment equipment.

Choose separation from the product target

Some products retain suspended material, while others need a selected liquid-separation stage. Include separation only when the incoming feed and desired result justify it. A product described as cloudy does not imply one universal screen, separator setting or extraction method. Review representative feed and agree how the finished product will be assessed so that the scope matches the actual juice specification.

Keep the downstream line coordinated

The properties of the liquid feed influence buffering, transfer and thermal processing. Batch preparation and a continuous downstream stage can need different operating cycles, so tank duty should be derived from the schedule. The treatment outlet must be coordinated with the selected bulk package. Filling and storage conditions belong in the product plan, rather than being inferred from the number of filling heads.

Share the right information at enquiry

Provide the feed state, target cloudy juice or beverage-base specification, quantity per hour and preferred package. State whether the capacity refers to incoming fruit, prepared pulp or finished liquid. Mention equipment you already have, available utilities and the country of installation. This lets the discussion concentrate on the extraction and downstream duties that your project actually needs.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you choose your equipment.

Is a separator always necessary for cloudy juice?

No. Its inclusion follows the feed properties and product target. Separation can change the retained solids and should have a defined purpose.

Can purchased pulp feed this route?

Prepared pulp can be a starting point, but its solids, seed and peel history, temperature and previous treatment need to be included in the review.
