KIWIFRUIT PROCESS ENGINEERING
Kiwifruit Feed Condition and Preparation
Record cultivar, maturity, firmness, incoming state and upstream history before selecting preparation and processing equipment.
Whole fruit is not a uniform feed
Cultivar, maturity, firmness, field debris and storage history influence washing, preparation and pulping. Review representative variation instead of selecting around one ideal sample.
Prepared material changes the battery limit
Purchased pulp, puree or juice can bypass receiving equipment, but its particle condition, seed and peel history, temperature and prior treatment still affect downstream selection.
Preparation needs an actual method
The line layout must show who washes, trims and removes peel before pulping. That interface cannot be filled by renaming unrelated equipment.
