Process and Buffer Tanks for Kiwifruit Processing
Stainless process tanks provide controlled hold-up between discontinuous and continuous duties when volume and product conditions are defined.

AT A GLANCE
A defined duty in your processing line.
The configuration shown includes vertical tanks, top access or drives, a platform and surrounding pipework.
- Process stage
- Buffering and line balance
- Incoming material
- Prepared pulp, puree or juice at an agreed temperature and consistency.
- Outlet
- Buffered product delivered to the next selected duty.
Final configuration and capacity are selected for the material, product and installation.

What to specify before quotation.
| Selection factor | What to provide or confirm |
|---|---|
| Working volume | Derive useful hold-up from upstream and downstream operating cycles. |
| Product condition | Record viscosity, particles, temperature and air-sensitivity. |
| Tank duty | State whether agitation, heating, cooling or simple buffering is required. |
| Transfer duty | Select the pump and pipework separately from water-test assumptions. |
CLEANING & INSPECTION
Access follows the installed geometry.
Tank geometry, access, instrumentation and connected pipework need an agreed cleaning and inspection boundary.
LINE INTERFACES
Connect the duty, not only the nozzle.
Coordinate level control, overflow protection, transfer pump selection and the downstream thermal or filling demand.
CONFIGURATION & SUPPLY SCOPE
Confirm the details that matter.
Specify working volume, agitation, temperature duty and any pressure requirement in the proposal. Select the transfer pump and product pipework for the actual material.
