Keep matched samples from one feed lot
Record cultivar, maturity, peel preparation, temperature and feed mass for one run interval. Collect incoming prepared feed, accepted puree and screen reject with linked sample IDs. Record the selected screens and working settings; they do not alone define the product.
Judge seed, peel and fibre separately
Use the same sample mass, lighting and inspection method. Record intact seeds, fragments, visible peel and coarse fibre as separate observations. Retaining visible seeds is a product target, not evidence that the seeds remained intact; compare the reject as well.
Make acceptance visible
Agree the texture and inclusion criteria before the run. Weigh the outputs, account for samples and drain losses, and record interruptions. An unfilled worksheet is a planning aid and contains no trial result.
