Aseptic Kiwifruit Puree: Treatment and Bulk Bag Filling

Coordinate kiwifruit puree treatment with aseptic bulk bag filling. Review product properties, the sterile hand-off, bag fitment and cleaning responsibilities.

Treat the product and package as one system

An aseptic bulk-product route connects product treatment, the downstream sterile hand-off and a compatible package. Selecting an aseptic bag filler alone does not validate the complete product or its storage life. Begin with the actual puree properties, process objective and required package, then identify the treatment and filling responsibilities. This keeps the selected equipment tied to the intended bulk ingredient.

Select thermal processing from the puree

The thermal system needs product information such as viscosity, particles, acidity and inlet condition, together with the required treatment objective. Heating, holding, cooling and controls are developed around that duty. There is no universal kiwifruit temperature or hold time on this website. Product validation and release responsibilities should be agreed with the project before operating conditions are finalized.

Confirm the bag and container arrangement

The two-head filling family is intended for bulk bag-in-drum operation. Specify the actual bag fitment, fill quantity, outer container and handling sequence. Product inlet temperature, pressure and flow also need to match the selected filling arrangement. Fill measurement and verification are project choices. This equipment should not be assumed to include a retail bottle or pouch packaging line.

  • Provide the bag and fitment specification.
  • Describe empty and filled-container movement.
  • Coordinate the treated-product outlet with the filling inlet.

Include cleaning and operating procedures

The product circuit, filling head and external work area have distinct cleaning and operating duties. Map closed supply and return paths with the CIP system while retaining the separate procedures needed at the package and operator boundary. Include utilities, service access and the acceptance activities required for your project. The proposal should describe the coordinated scope without assigning an unvalidated shelf-life claim.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you choose your equipment.

Does an aseptic filler determine the product shelf life?

No. Shelf life depends on the validated product, process, package and storage conditions. The filler is one part of that system.

Is retail bottle filling included?

The pictured equipment family is bulk bag-in-drum filling. Retail packaging is a separate scope to identify in the enquiry.
