KIWIFRUIT PROCESS ENGINEERING
Hygienic Design and Cleaning Boundaries
Plan access, drainability, open-equipment cleaning and closed-circuit CIP across a kiwifruit processing line.
Separate open and closed cleaning duties
Belts, cleats, brush rollers, screens and exposed preparation zones need direct access. Tanks, pipework, thermal circuits and compatible filling paths can be mapped as closed circuits.
Inspect retention points
Fibre, peel fragments and product residues can remain around screens, valves, seals and transitions. The installed geometry determines access and verification.
Develop the cleaning method with the line
Water quality, cleaning media, temperature, circulation, manual tasks and release checks remain project responsibilities. No universal cycle is published.
